Ultra high resolution Low Voltage (LV) network power quality monitoring with grid-edge AI functionality, contained in a UL-approved meter collar adapter

The Meter Collar is available in two versions, to suit 1,2-phase and 3-phase installations.

The collar may be retrofitted to existing smart meters or electromechanical meters or used in a standalone installation.

Nexbe’s latest innovation, Raptor, is designed for grid-edge deployment. This IoT solution measures voltage and current inputs simultaneously at 16-bit resolution and up to 12MHz sampling rates — several orders of magnitude improvement over standard smart meters.

Captured data is then processed by our proprietary AI neural network, a self-learning network analyser that watches how the grid “breathes” in normal conditions, thereby detecting and predicting issues like arcing events, lightning strikes, and broken neutrals.

The system escalates only high-confidence, location-relevant abnormalities, ensuring urgent issues are prioritized while actionable intelligence is delivered.

Raptor’s introduction is aimed to provide network operators and utilities with a valuable network sensing tool for additional QoS monitoring activities.
