The device’s firmware complies with IEEE 1159.3 and IEC 61000-4 standards for structured power quality reporting, ensuring accurate and compliant data. This ensures that any recorded disturbance (sags, swells, harmonics, transients, etc.) is categorised and reported in a format familiar to industry engineers and regulators, simplifying integration with PG&E’s existing PQ monitoring practices.

Broad Spectrum EMI Scanning: An onboard high-frequency scanner monitors defined frequency bands (e.g. 2–10 kHz, 10–150 kHz, 150–900 kHz) and compiles 5-minute statistical summaries of noise or interference in those ranges in accordance with conducted emissions best practice. This “supraharmonic” monitoring helps detect issues such as inverter-generated noise or arcing that manifest in specific frequency bands, extending beyond traditional 60 Hz analysis.
